BASDEC-BURSA Aerospace & Defence Cluster Funded Event Mission to Turkey – Event: 27-28 March 2019

The Bursa Aerospace and Defence Cluster, which comprises Bursa’s aerospace and defence companies, is partnering with the British Embassy Department for International Trade Team to arrange a fully funded inward mission to Bursa’s innovative cluster to develop UK -Turkey partnerships in defence, automotive and machining, civil aerospace and interior design.

This visit has the support of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade and Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

What are the benefits to UK companies?
The event will provide a unique insight for UK companies into the investment opportunities in the region and options for imports and exports. Topics we will will look at together include intermediate products; connecting of system pieces for the main set up; joint production; joint design facilities; joint export opportunities with third markets; and engineering services.

DIT is supporting BASDEC by inviting British companies to showcase the UK’s capability to bring expertise, knowledge transfer and innovation to support Turkey’s plans in civil aerospace and defence. This will bring valuable opportunities for networking with local companies to explore partnership and collaboration through business to business meetingsmeetings meetings meetings meetings. Participants’ travel and accommodation expenditures will be covered by BASDEC for up to two representatives per company. Space is of course limited, so early confirmation and participation is encouraged.
