Next Generation Innovators schools’ day
We are looking for companies to exhibit or run a workshop to enthuse the visiting school-aged students. The event will be on Tuesday 9th October 2018 at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern and usualy has bwteen 500 – 900 secondary school aged visitors.

You are invited to join this tech mission on 22-23 October 2018. The mission will focus on 1-2-1 business matchmaking for technology companies covering the following verticals;
- Cyber security
- Smart cities AI, IoT, Blockchain
- Health tech
50 UK companies will be invited across the 3 verticals to Singapore where the UK companies will inform us who they wish to meet and we will go out to our stakeholders in Singapore to facilitate those meetings. DIT will aim to introduce the UK companies to a number of the stakeholders before the mission so you can maximise the face to face time. This mission is in partnership with PwC, Singapore Government’s IMDA and SGTech.
For our UK cyber security companies DIT will look to arrange roundtable sessions, discussion panels and 1-2-1 meetings with key Singapore stakeholders – subject to availability. The event will be a great opportunity to follow up on the contacts made during the Singapore International Cyber Week in September.

5-6 September, 2018
For the last 3 years, DIT has supported a successful UK cyber trade mission to Washington DC for UK companies interested in tapping into the $15bn US federal government cyber security market.
For 2018, there are a few remaining places to join this year’s mission to DC where participating companies will have the opportunity to:
- Attend and exhibit in the dedicated UK Cyber Innovation Zone on 6th September at the 9th annual Billington Cyber Security Summit – the largest annual summit in DC focused on cybersecurity for the US federal government.
- Network with senior US government cyber officials and industry professionals at an exclusive reception on the evening of 6th at the British Ambassador’s residence where General Paul Nakasone, the newly appointed Director of the NSA and Head of US Cyber Command, will speak.
- Attend an exclusive pre-summit dinner on the evening of the 5th September at the Canadian Embassy for Billington Summit speakers and sponsors.
- Take part in a planned day of additional pre-summit activities at the British Embassy on 5th September. Subject to demand, DIT will arrange a full day of sessions to engage UK cyber companies with senior leaders from US federal government, including for example US Cyber Command, the US Department of Homeland Security and the US Department of Defence, as well as leading DC-based tech investors and industry experts on strategic selling to the US public and private sectors.

26th and 27th September 2018
The Department for International Trade (DIT) and the Science & Innovation Network (SIN) in Italy would like to strengthen the presence of UK companies during the 3rd edition of Cybertech Europe that will take place in Rome at La Nuvola Convention Centre on the 26th and 27th September 2018.
UK companies attending will have the opportunity to access and network, amongst others, with Leonardo, the largest Italian Defence & Security system integrator with a major Cyber Security division also present in the UK, its clients and supply-chain, as well as with the wider European Industry, leading international technology vendors, institutions and Governments.
The exhibition will host an entire area dedicated to innovative and cutting-edge start-ups which will display the latest technological and cyber security advancements.
The exhibition cost for start-ups, which includes a 10% discount for companies that will sign up through DIT, is € 720 plus VAT (to be paid to the event organisers).
In its role to support trade and export, DIT is pleased to provide UK companies with tailored assistance during the conference to maximise their presence at the show by:
- Creating a DIT Cybertech Europe catalogue to be published on the event website and for wider distribution.
- Facilitating meetings with interested parties following marketing activity.
These services will be provided under the Overseas Market Introduction Service (OMIS) system at a cost of £ 330 plus VAT.
Moreover, companies interested in speaking slots during panel discussions are invited to inform DIT who will coordinate with the organisers to accommodate requests (subject to approval).
A networking reception with high-level contacts from business and institutions will also be offered to all participating UK companies.
