Department for International Trade: US exporting workshop – 4 April 2018

The Department for International Trade Defence and Security Organisation would like to invite you to an event on 4 April at RMA Sandhurst focused on exporting to the United States. This is an opportunity to hear from DSO colleagues about our experiences of exporting defence, security and cyber security capabilities to the US and to understand what support DIT can provide to you in doing so. There will be a range of presentations from the DSO USA desk, the cyber security export team, the space sector team and others. The staff from the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC), US Embassy, will also be available during the morning coffee and lunch breaks for 1-2-1 meetings.
This workshop is designed to help get companies ready to sell their products to the US, to understand how to write a Quad Chart, the reasons why they are needed, to note the websites that US Acquisition Managers use to advertise their requirements and seek White Papers.
The timetable for the day is below. There are 100 seats available for this event at £100 plus VAT per seat, with a maximum of two reps per company. Closing date for registration is Wednesday 28 February, when companies will be given a seven day window to pay (details of how to do this will be forwarded on the closing date).
