5th Cyber Showcase, Ambassador’s Residence Vienna – Deadline: 31st October 2018

Due to popular demand, I am contacting you to let you know that the 5th Central and Eastern European Cyber & Information Security Showcase which is once again taking place in

at the
British Ambassador’s Residence
21 and 22 January 2019.

The event is being organised and led as in the previous 4 years by
Miles Fisher, UKTI senior trade officer responsible for the IT and security sectors.

You can find a
short summary of the event and further information on how to participate on our website:

As on the previous four occasions we will be bringing in international delegates from a total of
11 CEE countries – Austria, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.

When you have completed the
Expression of Interest from the above website, it will be used to determine whether Embassies, in the participating countries, will be able to select the right contacts for you to meet with. It is important and helpful if you can give consideration to the types of people/organisations you wish to meet. Please also complete a short description of your business – this will be used in the brochure prepared for the event and sent to 4000 contacts – it needs to be succinct and easily understandable by people who do not have English as a mother tongue.  (You will be able to return to the interest form to amend things until you press the final submit option).

We will, as previously, be selecting UK exhibitors on the basis of whether or not suitable international delegates can be recruited from the majority of markets. This may mean that some companies may not be selected to attend – this is not a comment on the products or services offered but reflects the fact that without a body of companies, exhibiting in a particular sub sector or market – we do not feel that an international delegate will pay to travel to this event.

closing date for registering your interest in this event is 31st October 2018.

I do hope that you will consider taking part in this event, as we have had very good feedback from exhibitors in the past, with £22 million worth of business generated by the 2016 event and we look forward to another successful event in 2019.
