2nd round of the Cyber Resilience Revenue Grant – Deadline: 19th July 2018

Funding has been made available by the UK Government to the Welsh Government to support the implementation of the UK National Cyber Security Strategy 2016-2021.

The funding is designed to support the strategic outcomes and success measures outlined in the UK National Cyber Security Strategy. Welsh Government has also identified priorities for Wales.The primary purpose of the funding is to make Wales more cyber resilient.

Applications can be made by individual organisations, or partnerships of several organisations, from the public, private or voluntary sectors. The organisation must be based in Wales, be undertaking the project in Wales and the project should directly support Welsh Government priorities in relation to cyber resilience as identified in Annex A below.

Projects will need to have an exit strategy, or provide evidence of self-sustainability beyond the funding term if it is a long term project and will continue after the funding has been provided.Funding for redundancy payments is therefore not eligible.

Funding

There is a total of £200,000 funding available. The amount available to the successful applicants will be dictated by the number of applications received.This must be shared amongst a number of priority areas.

Application process

Applications can be madewhen the notification has been issued.The bidding process will be open for approx. 4 weeks from notification of the commencement of the process. The closing date for applications is 19 July 2018.
